soundscapes surrounding the music. The ideas for this evocative
work came to Cooper after he had spent a two-day period going
from the ocean to the mountains, to a gently running stream;
absorbing the sounds of morning and evening through to what he
describes as a Utopian night.

Released by Cooper Sound Waves in l993, Moment In Time, a world
jazz
recording, is marked by incredible musicianship. In addition

spotlighting the talents of some of the key musicians from Cooper's
band

Soft Wave
Soft Wave was first released in l987 by Narada Records and sold
20,000
copies throughout the world. It was recorded and available before
the WAVE
became a national radio station chain, thus it became very popular
for
several years on those stations. This recording falls into the
category now
considered soft jazz. Cooper wrote or co-wrote five of the six
songs here,
aided by co-producer/engineer Rick Krizman (who has since won
an ASCAP award
for one of his television scores), as well as sysnthesists Mark
Cohen and
Rusty Hamilton. "Soft Wave" incorporates a full spectrum
of modern
instrumentation and features the soprano saxophone, played by
Cooper,
interspersed with ambient ocean sounds.

book,
released in 2001. "Living With Feeling: The Art of Emotional
Expression,"

happiness. These are all Cooper originals, with about 25% of
the material
